Just missing shots

We could have made the lead huge with some open looks we normally make. Giffey is ice cold right now and Daniels was rushing things. We look faster than them, we are hanging in there on the boards and playing good halfcourt D. The story of the first half was us missing open looks we normally make and us missing our assignments on transition D giving Michigan State open three point shots. The second foul on Brimah was total bs. We just have to calm down and make the shots we usually make. Barkley says we are going to get blown off the floor second half, that should bode well for us......Mojo

Barkley will conveniently forget making that prediction. Our outside shooting has been awful and Bazz has yet to take over. Daniels' missed three from the wing that was in and out which was followed by an MSU threw was a huge turning point. Instead of up 7 we were up 1 I think.

If Giffey makes just one of the those threes, Uconn is probably ahead right now.

Uconn set the tone early, they just need to find their groove again. It's not like MSU is dominating, but rather they are making their threes while Uconn isn't.

I'm a little concerned about the offense right now- seems like Giffey and DD have lost some confidence and are now deferring, which means the offense is Shabazz with a couple seconds on the shot clock.

To win, either NG or DD have to start making shots.
