While I love all the support the city is giving Aaliyah, really bummed our sports networks aren't broadcasting her game or any of the Canadians playing this week :(. They went with the Fever's games this week.

Gotta go through my back channels to find ESPN3 tonight.

That’s the difference between Canada and the US. They have town criers
Or in the case of Syracuse "dumpy city criers"

Holy smokes! You would think that your local sports network would broadcast local talent. That does stink.

So proud of Aalyah.. She looked so poise and most importantly, she looked like she belonged in the wnba. I always saw Aalyah to be a slasher type of forward. Hopefully she can work on her jump shot and three pointers to really add to her arsenal.

Thought she did well based on her playing time. Definitely fits in with this roster and great energy.
The great thing is that Aaliyah, Stef, Austin, and Hines-Allen give four very different looks in the front court. That really hadn’t sunk in for me till Aaliyah sibbed in for Stef last night and the defender had to totally change up her game plan.

This jumped out at me too. I thought she played great overall for her first pro game. Some stuff to work on, sure, but that's every rookie.
