or does anyone else find the Phoenix Mercury's slogan for the season, "Defend Glory" just a tad awkward.

I had no idea it was their slogan for the season........ but after someone here posted a video of their opening night ceremonies I wrote...

It would have been Hilarious if Griner would have walked out in the "Glory is Ours" shirt like the others

If she had.. that would have been a topic on alot of sports radio talk shows over that weekend and following week ..... too bad she came out in some other outfit.

2 T-shirts I got at a Mercury playoff game last year. #1 They gave everyone who attended, for a fan "white-out". #2 Was shot out of a t-shirt gun by a cheerleader, apparently left over from earlier in the year. (Thanks again JRRRJ)
