Upon women did it in one half (20 mins). It took SC 33:06 (4th Q) and Baylor 27:52 (3rd quarter). Is this indicative of our offensive efficiency at the beginning of the game, or the weakest 16 seed in our bracket, or a little of both?

To be fair, Geno took his foot off the gas after about 8 minutes.

And it possibly could be indicative of playing the #64 overall seed...

It could easily be a combination of all those things. Another one I'll throw in is pace; it's possible for an efficient offense to pile up points more slowly just because it prefers to operate at a slower pace and therefore ends up with fewer possessions per minute.

Part of the reason Geno likes to use the pressure trapping defense is to get teams to speed up beyond the pace they would normally want to play at.

Does anyone know what happened to USF. They scored 48 points.... and won. I know Colorado St has an excellent defense but wow that is low. So I guess USF is at 40:00 and counting.

I don't have any real answers, but here's a little info:

--For some reason, Courtney Williams came off the bench, rather than starting.

--Courtney took half the team's shots and scored 31 of the 48 points.

--Her teammate shot under 20%.

I wish they played like that against us.
