I haven't seen this discussed much. What kind of onions does HCKO have to make the statement at halftime that we're going to win this game?

Agree.....it was surprising in one way and not in another. Not something coaches say, but Ollie was showing some Calhoun-esque will to infuse his confidence into the team and Husky Nation!

I wondered if there would be any backlash about that or if people would think it was arrogant. I would rather not make it a habit because eventually we will lose a game and it will be replayed and look not so great.

Seems like KO is one of the few people who can get away with it because you can tell he's not trying to be disrespectful of the other team at all, he's just a truly positive person who in his heart believes 100% that we will win.

Absolutely loved it! Anybody have a clip of him saying it. I knew, once Nova didn't build the lead with Bazz out, they were in trouble. Ollie felt that way too, & didn't mince words.

Joe Namath - Super Bowl 3
Mark messier - 94 eastern conference finals game 6
Kevin Ollie - 2nd NCAA tournament game in first NCAA tournament

That is some heavy testiculo company.

Loving KO!

I new he was right the second he said it. I think we were out playing them from the very beginning even though we got behind early. I think the team new it. Mojo definitely rising. It didn't seem like it could go any other way.

Hell, Coach K wont even do the halftime interview, he has Wojo do them instead.

I felt the exact same way. And hearing him said it got me amped.

Wow, I'm going to say he's got some huge culhaos!! (Brazilian slang for the more clinical testiculo!)

And in response, Wojo bends down and slaps the floor with both hands.

Just showed his intensity at the time because he was so amped up after the comeback, but he will probably hold things in check in the future because the coaches usually try to be diplomatic in those interviews. If he could I think he he would arm wrestle the opposing coach.

This is because K, doesn't realize Wojo does not=Mojo!

And Mike Hopkins at 'Cuse. It's like it's beneath Coach K. and Boeheim to talk to the halftime reporter (no matter how hot she may be...).

Coach K did the halftime interview during the Mercer game.

He's no Kevin Ollie.
