Take note coaches: Play a 2-3 zone where nobody chases the cutters and crossers, and hold the ball for nearly the entire 30 seconds on the other end.
good call. I would think we'd want Lou to come out further and take 3s...

I get that USF is a good team. But the way they are playing UCONN, they are at least an elite 8 team. I realize you can't use MOV, and maybe their familiarity with UCONN is giving them an extra boost to be able to keep with us, but it's hard to imagine a team who lost to SJU, Miss State, Memhis, Temple, and L'ville by 17 could give UCONN this much trouble...
USF has really good guards and aren't so much dependant on the post. Those are the teams that give the Huskies trouble.

If so, doesn't bode well deep in the tournament. But didn't she go 0-3 and then hit the next 6 a couple of games ago?
yup

Good point. ND is another great example of that. I really hope USF goes far in the tourney. Rooting for them big time!

I've seen three team turnovers by FSU. Were those all shot clock violatins?

UCONN opening the throttle a bit and putting some distance between the 2 teams after a really strong start to the 2nd quarter - now up 13...

For the record I'd LOVE to have someone ask Geno why the 1st quarter was so close and why we blew them out in the 2nd. Even defensively we were superior in the 2nd quarter.

I get that we missed layups, but why? does he think it was nerves? Too excited/anxious? Just curious as he has a much better pulse on his team than we do watching from our couches...
