McGraw said they're bringing Reimer along slowly from her achilles. In the beginning of the season, this will allow her to work Westbeld with Turner and get Nelson -- who is coming back from a year off due to injury -- some minutes as well. Younger Mabrey looked confident taking an array of long bombs (like her sister), elbow jumpers and drives to the basket. Arike has some very unorthodox moves to the hoop. Granted, it's an exhibition, but good confidence. Just wish Patberg could've been part of it....hope she recovers well and comes back next year.

Seems like there has been a Mabrey or Cable at ND for ten years.

Seems like it. This is Cable's 5th year -- she missed most of her freshman year due to foot issues.
If things go as planned, there will be a Mabrey on ND's team for 7 years...unless, the youngest also ends up going there.

In the footage I've seen, Arike is very aggressive at taking the ball to the hoop. She's on the stocky side, so she may have the strength to score with contact.
