Is updating their class rankings for 2013 and releasing it tomorrow . Think any of our guys will crack the top 100? I'm guessing Facey is between 60-80

The way I see it, we don't really need anything other than big men, and Facey is a top 25 Center, so we have a top 25 recruit coming in

Facey moved up 4 spots to 96th overall. 4* 82 overall and 27th PF. Terrence Samuel and Amida Brimah stayed the say at 3* and 79 grade.

Good writeup in the scouting report area too. Also is anyone else surprised that URI has a top 100 player signed?

Yeah I know Hurley's there and he just got there this past off-season. Doing quick work it seems.

Now that Ollie has a longer term contract, he really needs to start bringing in the players. He needs to recruit like Calipari at Memphis (not the methods--but similar results) if we're not going to decline.

From everything I hear, he's a great recruiter (even getting back in with Jabari Parker was fantastic), but he needs to close. And soon.

Memphis signed 3 in the top 33. What the heck is going on?
Their coach can recruit--and they're moving up in the world, while we're moving down.

They also have no standards.

also helps that 2 of their recruits are from TN, including one from Memphis. Pastner has done well nationally but he also has a pretty good recruiting base to choose from with Memph/TN

Samuel is not ranked a 79 anymore he's ranked a 73. But I could not care less about recruiting rankings. They don't mean anything in my opinion just a number next to a name. Jeremy Lamb, Emeka Okafor, Thabeet, Hilton, Shabazz..all these guys were not ranked too too high and they worked out okay. Guys like Ater Majok and deng were top 25 recruits and look how they ended up. I'm just happy our recruits want to be at UCONN.
