Agree - it looks like at least the 2017 list is just the same.
Interesting to note that only 2 of the top 18 in this list have committed - compared to previous years these folks are taking their time to select their schools. In general I think that is a healthier process.

And many of them have The UConn on their grocery list. Some it just seems a wish list however.

Daniel Cosgrove, the center from NY, enters the '18 list at #56.

Alissa Pilli, the '19 power forward from Alaska who has said she wants to be a Husky, debuts at #25.

This young lady has a chance to be special. She has great length and the body to go with it. When she wants, she's dominant in the post. She can score in so many ways. She has a soft touch and a very good feet. To me she seemed to get bored at times and that can't continue to happen.

Not shocked she dropped a bit considering she was a non-factor at the U17 championships. She got high marks for at least one AAU performance, but otherwise didn't hear much about her summer.

Looks like NaLyssa Smith (2018) is no longer a secret, moving up from 12 to 4. I had said in the past that I think she is a better player than Collier.

I still think Queen Egbo is underrated at #21. She and Smith are my wish list for 2018. Anyone additional players would just be gravy.

So much depends on walker in '17. If we get Walker the C. Williams is less of a priority. Given the Quality of post players in '18 and lack of quality before and after I think UCONN needs to snag 2 post players Nelson-Ododa + any one of ( Owens, Cosgrove, Prince, Collier, Austin, Smith) would be superior.

I think Williams has a UConn ( among others ) offer in hand but is just taking her sweet time. She knows she's good and has options.
With the Huskies rep for developing PG's and SG's UConn would be a perfect place for her. And she could possibly win a NC along the way. Currently no other schools PG or SG can say that
over the last 4 years.
