C: Connecticut, of course. For the first time since 2012, when Breanna Stewart signed her national letter intent on the hood of her dad's car, Connecticut has landed the No. 1 prospect in the nation. This time, it's Katie Lou Samuelson, a 6-foot-3 wing out of Mater Dei (Santa Ana, California). In addition to Samuelson, UConn also is expected to get signatures from Napheesa Collier, the No. 7 prospect in the class, and No. 22 De'Janae Boykin. The UConn recruits made up three-fourths of the team that won gold for Team USA at the Youth Olympic Games in China over the summer, which is a 3-on-3 competition. Need more good news, UConn rivals? "We worked really well together," Samuelson said.
