Let The Sun Shine In - The Clumsy Lovers

Pretty sure this is the first ever appearance by the Clumsy Lovers on the Boneyard! IIRC, they are closely linked to the Paperboys. Like the whole band got tired of the lead singer, so left and formed a new band. Or maybe I'm making that up. Pretty sure I saw them live once long, long ago, but the memory gets a little fuzzy.

Sunrise. Composed by a contemporary of mine, with a nod to a contemporary of mine. :D

I was thinking when we were looking at the eclipse (through eclipse glasses) that we should listen to Thus Spake Zarathustra. Turned out we don't own it. I did have the 2001 soundtrack many moons ago but tossed it when tossing all my records. I'm moderately taken aback that neither my wife nor I had it on a Strauss disc, but neither of us has any Strauss either.

I think I had it on disc once upon a time, with other Strauss tone poems, but I wouldn't swear to it. I'll always marvel at how glorious the opening sounds, but then the rest of the piece is very dissonant and difficult to listen to. Can't have everything, I guess.

Beware Of Darkness
A George Harrison song and my intent was to link the Concrete Blonde version.
However, I saw this version by Ann Wilson.

This one just popped into my head. I din’t think I’ve heard it in 30-40 years.

Darkness at the break of noon. . .
Eclipses both the sun and moon. . .
