Missed the game but Howard went 35/19 vs Andre's 9/6. Obviously, Andre had his hands full & had 5 fouls to Dwights 2. Did anyone watch?

Was flipping around between that game and the Charlotte game. Howard had a good day making some tough shots (he hit one that was almost a 3-pointer, and a couple hooks where the defense was pretty good). Andre won some battles here and there - blocking him and poking the ball from him. But obviously the war was one-sided.

A few mitigating factors involved - Howard played the whole first half (except last minute) and killed Monroe when Drummond was on the bench. Drummond picked up two quick folks at the start of the third and had to sit for a long time. And with Harden and Lin out and Beverly breaking his hand, they just went to Howard constantly - it was the wrong day to have that assignment. During the first half, Detroit was ice cold and Houston was bombing threes in, so Howard had lots of easy defensive boards and Drummond had lots of plays where he had great inside position only to just pick up the ball after it went through the net.

But there's no denying Howard taught him a few things. He actually looked like a fluid offensive player - he made shots I never thought he was going to make.
