According to the analysts all selection show, Florida and Mich St. were the two best teams in the tournament. And UConn, besides about a ten minute stretch in each game, pretty much "dominated" both of them. Now Kentucky, who needed a miracle to beat Wisconsin, is pretty much already crowned the national champ by those same analysts. Doesn't make sense to me.

Did I mention we're DOOOOOMED though? Kentucky has that going for them; they're not doooooooomed. So I guess that explains it. Huh?

How good could they have been if they were beaten so handily by UConn? Yes, the experts did believe that Michigan St was the best team in the dance and when they were bounced, Florida took the mantle but obviously the experts were dead wrong on both counts. Sometimes they miss and believe a team that in reality cannot even compete with UConn was in fact a quality team.

Florida would have been favored to beat Wisconsin. We beat Florida pretty good, Kentucky squeaked by Wisconsin.
Doesn't make sense Kentucky would be favored Monday, but really, who cares.

this is so true...
how many more teams must Uconn beat before they get any credit. Somehow, everytime Uconn wins, it's because of the other team, not Uconn.

THIS IS WHAT HAS ME SO PSYCHED FOR THIS GAME. CAPLOCKS!!!!!!

I'm so sick of Iowa State and HOIBERG are the real deal, a real threat to take the title
IZZO and those SENIORS, how can you not like Michigan State to win it all
Florida, for 5 months, best team in the country not even close

and now

the FRESHMAN, and JOHN CALIPARI, and the tradition, and the MAGICAL RUN, how can they not bring in their 9th NATIONAL TITLE

BTW the Magical Run, featured a untested undefeated Witchata State (uh, how many actually picked them to win their region let alone the title?), Louisville (a team they already beat), and Michigan (without it's best player McGary, on a last second 3). Not really a magical run considering only Louisville was a team viewed to win it all. Wisconsin was good, but were they really that great?

We're DOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEDDD!

Add to this the fact that Louisville was the only team they've seen in this tournament that even tries to play defense........

Kentucky's results this season against Florida:
02/15/2014 L 69 - 59
03/08/2014 L 84 - 65
03/16/2014 L 61 - 60
Yes, KU beat Louisville recently and loss to Louisville during the season, but Louisville is one of those situations where a team has had our number for quite a few years now. Also, KU played in the same weak conference as FL.

We are Doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomed!!!

We got lucky. And all those teams we beat to get here had bad games.

If the opponent should ever not have a bad game, we'd be in big big trouble.

Come to think of it, we ARE. Have you heard about this Kentucky team? I think ESPiN might have mentioned them one time.

So friggin' dooooooooomed.

Odds are set by bettors, not a mystic. Odds are adjusted to ensure that both sides of the line are bet as evenly as possible -- casinos don't like to gamble, they just want their cut.

I can see why KY is the bettors favorite, it's hard to not go with size and media hype, over speed and metal toughness, which tend not to be as tangible qualities to the average fan. The way I see it, we have a better chance if winning 66 other teams.
