Anyone else excited that we have 3 300lb+ underclassmen DT's waiting in the wings?

Honestly, no. To date, I haven't seen a correlation between the size of our DTs and their effectiveness.

It's too bad Joseph can't slide over to a tackle spot. Jennings is too good to not play. I would not be surprised to see Jennings get an invite to an NFL camp next year. He has the gift of height and speed.

Any word on Stephen's injury? I'm praying it is a sprain.

I like the fact that true frosh Myers is already pushing in camp... and already has good technique... says a lot... Since when have we had a true frosh who isn't even 18 yet ( he will be next week )... Speaks volumes...

That's true. Michigan's o-line didn't push our smaller d-line all over the field.

Seriously? Michigan dominated our D line. That is proof that we've had more success with larger DTs than smaller DTs.

Our DTs were small last year as well. We were incredibly effective against the run. But that's not proof the other way either.

Our DTs were small? Really? Reyes was 290-300. Stephen was 310+. No wonder you don't think small DT's are a big deal.

Martin is small for a DT. So was Rhema Fuller. Sometimes the larger ones, like Blagman, took 4 years even to get on the field. Wirth is smaller too.

Are we actually fighting about anything?

Are we even gonna get to the season without it looking like last year? Hope Penn State doesn't put together a better 5 year record.
