Anyone that's followed UConn women's basketball for any length of time, knows that Geno is Italian and was born in Italy.

Per Wikipedia:
Luigi "Geno" Auriemma is an Italian-born American college basketball coach and the head coach of the University of Connecticut Huskies women's basketball team.
Born: March 23, 1954 (age 61), Montella, Italy

IF one day, a woman will be named "head coach" of an NBA team, I agree with Geno and lots of others that it will be Becky Hammond. IMO, once she breaks down that barrier, others will follow.

It only takes 1 owner with the onions to break away from the norm and hire her.
