Coco plays 29-year-old Sorana Cirstea of Romania in tonight’s second round match at the Australian Open. Cirstea is currently ranked #74 (Coco is #67).

Guessing that the match may be carried live on the Tennis Channel, but if not, at least it looks like ESPN3 will have it.

Go Coco ..!!!

Coco!

Australian reporter: "Why do you think you have so much [crowd] support here?"
Coco: "I think they kinda like me."

Plays Osaka next.

I imagine she'll lose in straights against Osaka again, but one can't deny that these are pretty impressive results overall for someone of her age.

Naomi was on top of her game and very relaxed against Coco last time ...Coco will need to see something closer to what Naomi showed yesterday in order to have a fighting chance. Also Coco could maybe benefit from a few less double faults

Not yet. Wang 0-30 at 5-4 up a break. Could even it up

Edit. On a great rally, Serena gets the break back 5-5

Insomnia is good sometimes. Coco took set one from Naomi (6-3) Coco has played an almost flawless match so far Especially her serving and set point waas flawless without nerves Naomi came out strong as well and was tied 3-3 but Naomi got unnerved and making a slew of unforced errors. Second set starting and Naomi is losing her composure. Hope she gets it back so the match is competitive.

Well, Coco wins. In second set, Naomi after being down a break got it back and the set went to 3-3 and then Naomi just fell apart. Very disappointing that Naomi just mentally checks out some times. Coco was not really pushed. 6-3, 6-4

The choking play continues. After Serena loses (I know, not a choke) and Naomi mentally checked out. Federer loses set 1 6-4 to journeyman Aussie Millman

Millman had a break at 5-3, broke Millman for 5-4 playing a good game and then choked away 4 points on his serve to gift Millman set 1. I doubt Federer will lose but what is going on down under?

Federer fighting back. Tough tie breaking win in set 2 and just btoke Millman to take set 3 6-4. Dont see him playing well enough to get to the semis
