Dang!! One of the games greatest players and definitely on my WNBA/College Basketball Top Ten All Time players list. Candace was the OG unicorn. She could do it all. What an outstanding career.

Wow, that was unexpected. I thought she’d for sure take a victory lap so fans could embrace and celebrate her one more season. And if healthy she was the perfect piece to add to Vegas. All that said, Parker is unquestionably one of the best to ever suit up and she has had an incredible career. It also ties a bow on the late great Pat Summitt’s legacy, as all of her standouts are now done in the league, plus Tennessee went outside of the family for their latest coaching hire. Best wishes to Candace in retirement, she’s a legend and a true game changer who has helped evolve the sport and has inspired many of today’s current players.
