Fantastic read on the making of the movie on Grantland . . .
Loved the movie and looking forward to checking this out in more depth, but had to chuckle at this:

"Nearly 20 years later, Boogie Nights endures. For its beautiful portrait of nontraditional families..."


That film is many things, but I don't think I would ever describe it as that.

That film is many things, but I don't think I would ever describe it as that.

I think description that fits. Like the way Ed Wood was about a nontraditional family.

I think it's just further proof that people who make movies take themselves way too seriously.
