Uconn with 3 of the top 8. And they have Nurse at #14 which may be low.

I was going to ask the same thing that UCONNFan68 asked. Why do we have three UCONN recruits in the top 10 and a Connecticut recruit at 14?

Pretty ugly for Baylor, Tennessee and Duke to a lesser extent wouldn't you say?

Just on numbers, Duke has three in the top 31, and four total on the list. That's not too dismal, though not near what UConn and UCLA are listed at.

Wow- what a group of ball handlers coming in- pretty exciting. We are losing two star players this year- and looks like we'll have 4 quality players coming in at least. Next year will be the deepest quality bench that we have had in as long as I can remember!!! Should be an intense grinding pressing and attacking team for 40 minutes of play with a lot of fresh legs!!!!

I think with Duke and TN they have had some very good recruits over the last few years so a 'down' year is not too unexpected. I worry about Baylor staying in the top ten - they have been getting some decent recruits but nothing at the top end for a few years it seems and they just lost a monster class to graduation and lose Sims after this year.
ETT - any thoughts. Their board talks up their recruits big time, but the services seem less impressed.

In the ASGR article on UConn having the #1 class of 2014 recruits, Kia Nurse is not mentioned ... it appears the ranking was based solely on Courtney, Gabby and Sadie ...

She will run out of gas. I've seen what kind of shape she is in.

Like on old diesel, big and slow.

I have seen both Russell and ND's Taya Reimer each play twice so far and it's no comparison...Reimer is more physical, athletic and simply more active on both ends of the court. Not necessarily calling Russell soft, but she has a rude awakening coming her way her freshman year, especially come conference season. ND is really killing teams in rebounding so far (51 to 29) lead by Reimer with 8.8 rpg in 23.4 minutes per game. By comparison, Russell is averaging 5 rpg in 21 minutes of play.

If TN feels tuckered now then wait until they get Morgan Tuckered if they aren't too tired to play us.
