I can't wait until week 6, when the Big East has at least 3 teams in the top 25 and Boise will be in the top 10...

it's great that the NNBE has 7 teams in the top 35 or so. this conference is going to get a lot tougher in 2013.

Both Alabama and USC were sanctioned heavily for cheating in the not too distant past. That NCAA shore does know how to punish.

I suprised those idiots didn't rank Clemson higher than WVU.

This will be the fith or 6th staright year where the pre-season pollsters see it as finally the year that Florida St. "turns things around".

Or when some Miami DB or Punt Returner breaks off a big INT or Punt returner and the announcer starts screaming about how "Miami is Back!" and they still lose the game.

People (including me) love to jump all over Notre Dame for not living up to the hype, etc... but honestly I think FSU and Miami have done less with more talent and both play a weaker schedule than Notre Dame.

Of course If I didn't get so sick of the pre-season, early season Miami/FSU hype... then I wouldn't really enjoy them collapsing in October/November quite as much.

Why? Because the AP feels like putting 5 SEC teams in the top 10 and 6 in the top 25?? What are the chances that the year ends up looking that way? You know how it goes; the SEC gets all their teams in the top 10, and we see a preseason great ranking for ND, Fla St., and Clemson. It all ends up coming out in the wash, and I expect Boise and at least 2 other Big East teams in the top 25 by year's end, if not more...

The thing is it doesn't even matter what Big East schools do at the end of the season in regards to the overall perception of the conference. Every pre-season its the same thing.
