There was a story in the Courant this morning that I thought this board might like:
Apparently there was a press conference on Monday afternoon to announce the retention of Dawn and others as assistant coaches for 2016. The South Carolina team attended to cheer for their coach.
When it came time for questions from the press, A'ja Wilson of South Carolina raised her hand to ask Geno a question: "What qualities are you looking for in (Olympic-team) players?"
Geno's response: "Smart-a*es like you who grab the microphone and ask questions!"
It's too bad she didn't come to UConn. She and Geno seem to have compatible personalities.
