Can’t wait. One of my favorite players in the country.
I'm very much looking forward to seeing her back on the court again - but we really need to STOP using that "generational talent" phrase. It just doesn't apply in nearly all cases. Absolutely great players yes but that's says enough. Can’t wait. One of my favorite players in the country.
Agreed. When 3 or 4 players have been declared generational over a several year period, it really loses its meaning.I'm very much looking forward to seeing her back on the court again - but we really need to STOP using that "generational talent" phrase. JuJu, Hannah and MiLaysia have all been called “generational “ this year. Three generations in one year!Agreed. When 3 or 4 players have been declared generational over a several year period, it really loses its meaning.
There you go, 3 in one class. Plus Paige and Caitlin a few years ahead of them. And Azzi sandwiched in between (although she might've lost that moniker since leaving high school).JuJu, Hannah and MiLaysia have all been called “generational “ this year. Three generations in one year!
I would scrap the Word and only apply it to players who have been in the W for 5 years or more.
Boston was a “generational Big.” How old is Griner? There you go, 3 in one class. Plus Paige and Caitlin a few years ahead of them. And Azzi sandwiched in between (although she might've lost that moniker since leaving high school).
Which is why “ generational” shouldn’t be used on an ACC threadBoston nor Griner never played in the ACC last time I checked

They can't be generational players for their respective programs?JuJu, Hannah and MiLaysia have all been called “generational “ this year. Three generations in one year!

It would have to be another thread. How about one that is SEC dominated!!Ok.... lets try to get this thread back on track. We can discuss generational in another thread
Generational=talented these days.I'm very much looking forward to seeing her back on the court again - but we really need to STOP using that "generational talent" phrase. It just doesn't apply in nearly all cases. Absolutely great players yes but that's says enough.
Yes they played together.I like the hire! Weren't she and Kara teammates--if only for one year?
So,What the @#$& does this have to do with the ACC Off-Season. No offense, but we ACC fans dont want to read about any of these players in THIS thread...

Nothing like raised blood pressure on a Monday morning
I think she'll be generational once she has another year. We've seen seemingly elite players tank before (Hailey Van Lith being a big one). It's too quick to determine from just one year. I think she's gonna eventually win a DPOY and a lot of ACC accolades that will solidify her as a generational player. So,
Are you saying that Hannah is not generational?
