So great to see KO get a FF and NC that he nearly had in 1995
So great to see Karl Hobbs win another NC as a coach.
So great to see Glen Miller's socks and dance moves.
So great to see the former players coming into the coaching ranks...KF and Ricky...their reactions at the buzzer showed arguably more joy than when they actually won it!

KO paid back Florida. This whole tournament was like the UCONN revenge tour:

Michigan State
Iowa State
Florida
Calipari
Emmert

And making all the recent FF kinda makes up for under representation in the 90s

There will be plenty of time to settle any old scores.

On thing that recently occurred to me (although it may be a bit too much of a dream, but also an enormous nightmare to the NCAA and all of our haters) is that it is possible that when he retires, Kevin Ollie could have more national titles than any other coach. Keep in mind that he was about three months older at the time he won his first title than Geno was when he won his first. Granted, the concentration of talent and length of collegiate careers when Wooden won his ten was very similar to today's women's game, which is for all intents and purposes a different playing field from men's basketball today but with ~ 27 more seasons ahead of him and a couple of nice little clusters of titles it isn't that impossible a dream.

One year, one game at a time, he's off to a great start though.

but but don't we need to hire some 'recruiting stud' to our staff that isn't part of our family? in all seriousness majority of posters before title wanted a new addition outside the family. they didn't think it was the correct formula when we were missing on kasongo etc

don't forget revenge against St. Joe's for knocking Toby Kimball's team out in 1967

We can never payback the demonic Evil Empire enough for the 101-54 shellacking in the 1964 Elite Eight. Vic Bubas kept his starters in for almost the entire game just to rub it in because Shabel was disloyal to him. The score was 62-27 at halftime. Jeff Mullins had 33 points and played most of the game.

Never again!

who would be added to the staff? Assuming another former player. Donyell?
Possibly donyell. The guy who got fired from maine is a uconn guy too, maybe him? I can't imagine a school hiring coach miller though after his last two jobs
