Starts at 5pm today. Two events I know are happening are the 2013 UA Summer Jam and the Nike Global Challenge.

Here are names of recruits at the Summer Jam in Wisconsin: 17U Preview (2014 recruits) & 16U Preview (2015 recruits)

Here are the rosters at the Nike Global Challenge in DC: West, Midwest, South & East (Abdul Malik Abu & Cheick Diallo will be there too, playing on the Pan-Africa team)

Hoping Ollie's first stop is in DC.

The staff is looking at so many kids that it's hard to keep track of all of them. One can read on here who the BY'ers think the top targets should be, but the staff has to cast such a wide net due to kids they like possibly choosing other schools that it's hard to know who the staff really wants vs. who they think they will end up getting.

If there was any question about Ollie and UCONN still being able to land top recruits, hopefully that was completely put to rest with the transfer of Purvis and verbal of Hamilton. While I'm glad to see Ollie and the staff going after so many top shelf kids, it makes it confusing for the average fan to follow the ebb and flow (tough crap I know, right?!!). Hopefully we start to emerge as the leader for some of these kids, but it may be a long haul and sprint to the end...

So Black, Looney, and Turner are the main 2014 targets at UA Summer Jam, while Oubre, Chatman, Colson, Larrier, and Abu are in DC.

I'd think KO would head to DC first for Abu, Chatman, and Oubre as the priority, then fly off to Wiscosin for the other 3.

From TOS:

NY2LA Summer Jam
Where: Milwaukee, Wisc.
Reporting Staff: Evan Daniels
Dates: July 17-21

Top Players: Cliff Alexander, Myles Turner, Keita Bates-Diop, Lamonte Bearden, Leron Black, Chris Chiozza, Diamond Stone, Joe Burton, Brekkot Chapman, Chase Jeter, Derryck Thornton, Riley Chance, Kevon Looney, Caleb Martin, Cody Martin, Dominique Collier, Quadri Moore, Jared Nickens, Ahmaad Rorie, Justin Tillman, Romelo Trimble, Isaiah Whiteheadd, Stephen Zimmerman

Looking forward to: Antonio Curro’s event has become a must attend. The five-day event consists of the entire stable of Under Armour teams, plus a mixture of teams from different regions of the country. Lamonte Bearden, Riley LaChance and Justin Tillman are players that have played well throughout the spring and are developing big names. It will be good to evaluate them in this setting, as a host of coaches are set to watch them in Milwaukee. The event also consists of plenty of five-star talent. Cliff Alexander is set to match up with up Myles Turner early in the event, which puts two top 10 big men against each other on the first day.

Elite 32/Best of the South
Where: Atlanta, Georgia
Date: July 17-21
Reporting Staff: Brian Snow
Top Teams: Atlanta Celtics, Georgia Stars, Upward Stars, Game Elite, Showtime Ballers, Team Breakdown, Southern Kings, Team Penny, MBA Hoops, Team United, Florida Elite

Top Players: Daniel Giddens, Jaylen Brown, Braxton Blackwell, Marcus Sheffield, Dwayne Bacon, Corey Sanders, Perry Dozier, Devin Mitchell, K.J. Lawson, Dedric Lawson, Anton Beard, Joel Berry, D’Angelo Russell, Malik Price-Martin, Brandone Francis, Grayson Allen

Looking Forward To: Many of the top players in Georgia will be on display as well as a few others from around the south. Marcus Sheffield is one of the hottest targets in the 2015 class, how will he fair against a quality field, also it will be interesting to see how things go for Boubacar Moungoro after an excellent Peach Jam. On top of that, just which young kids emerge, and can Dedric Lawson make a statement as a top five player in the 2016 class. It should be a very interesting time in the Peach State.

Great American Shootout
Where: Duncanville, Texas
Date: July 18-21
Reporting Staff: Brian Snow
Top Teams: Texas Titans, Dallas Mustangs, Dallas Seawolves, Urban DFW, Athletes First, Team Texas, Arkansas Wings, Texas Titans, Arizona Magic, Colorado Miners, Texas PRO

Top Players: Elijah Thomas, Austin Grandstaff, King McClure, Elbert Robinson, Allonzo Trier, Skal Labissiere, Malik Monk, Michael Humphrey, Josh Perkins, David Wacker, Matt McQuaid, Tyler Davis

Looking Forward To: This is a Texas dominated event. There are always sleepers in the state of Texas and this is a great place to find them. Also I am looking forward to seeing how Josh Perkins recovers after a tough showing at the NBPA Top 100 Camp. Beyond that can Michael Humphrey re-assert himself as a high-major post, how Will King McClure look coming back from injury, and will Elijah Thomas dominate down low. Overall things should be very interesting in Duncanville.

Double Pump Best of Summer, Battle at the Beach, Fullcourt Press Cream of the Crop Challenge, Pangos Stars of the Future
Where: Anaheim, Cerritos and Redondo Beach, California
Date: July 17-21
Reporting Staff: Josh Gershon, Evan Daniels
Top Teams: Belmont Shore, L.A. Rockfish, Compton Magic Elite, Pangos Elite, Louisville Magic, Indiana Elite, Pump N'Run Elite, Arizona Power, QJZ Elite, Superior Athletes Black, NorCal Wildcats Elite

Top Players: JaQuan Lyle, Quentin Snider, Parker Jackson-Cartwright, Zylan Cheatham, Bennie Boatwright, Justin Simon, Robert Cartwright, Thomas Welsh, Cameron Walker, Sedrick Barefield, Connor MacDougall, Casey Benson, Brodricks Jones, Devearl Ramsey, Roman Davis, Leland Green, Jordan McLaughlin, Lonzo Ball, Jeremy Hemsley, Kendall Small, Stephen Thompson, Marquese Chriss, Chance Comanche

Looking Forward To: With many elite squads in the region at bigger tournaments further east, last week provided a great opportunity to see many of the top young prospects on the West Coast. This week there will be some more national talent, especially at Thursday's one-day Battle of the Beach event. Also, Sunday's Pangos Stars of the Future will provide a good look at many of the top young prospects in the area.
