That husky is hideous. My four year old could draw a better husky.

Just look at it!
I did look at it. The original UConn Husky logo is tough and fierce looking and resembles the look of the current logo. I am just surprised that they are not making the connection from the first logo to the current logo, but rather promoting the 1959 logo that looks odd

I don't get why everyone is so big on the 1959 husky logo?? The first UConn husky logo from 1935-1936 is awesome, and resembles the new husky logo too.

What logo from 1935? Do you have a picture?

I second this

Yes, I have an original 1936 UConn Husky pennant that was created when mascot was changed from the Aggies to Huskies, I believe it was 1935 or 36. I can take a picture tonight.

Are people drunk who are buying that shirt? That dog looks like it knows it has to take a dump and wants to get outside ASAP.....it's that holy hell, I've heard the grumble down below and the arrival of a bowel episode of epic proportions is imminent.

It looks like a nervous skinny polar bear.

I want one.

....I still cannot believe at any point in time a person in power at the school said "This dog right here will be a great ambassador to the University of Connecticut."

Well, at the time, UCONN was a basically a farm with some classrooms tacked on to the barn. :)

They're promoting it because people love it. Already re-ordered the second batch!

I love it because it looks like its basically our mascot if he was drawn into The Simpsons during the 2012-2013 season.... sad and hungry

I want musket jonathan. That's the best mascot we've ever had by far. A colonial soldier minute man husky dog with a musket…. AMAZING!

I don't know how people can like the musket husky. I can't get past those calves. Does he have gout or something?

Great idea, terrible execution.

It's one of those shirts where people will ask you, "what the hell is that?" You then plug UCONN. Great marketing right there. Plus it's nice, clean and simple.
