Can South Carolina just go ahead and lose so that Baylor can move up a spot. We all know that Baylor's schedule sucks so there is little chance of a loss before the first Texas game.

It could happen but I'm not sure it will, atleast not for about a month. SCar was a second half team all year last year and although they have had a slow start this is something they are accustomed to.

Cal is vastly over ranked. They've played only two quality teams-Louisville which is 1-4 this year and Texas A&M which beat Cal by 17 points. After losing to A&M, Cal beat Liberty by only 5 points.

Liberty led Ohio State in the fourth quarter... of course the Buckeyes won in the end.. winning by just 10 points.

Saw part of the Cal-Louisville game. Cal is grossly imbalanced: lots of height but not much on the perimeter.

Louisville not only out of top 25, they got "0" votes.

And USF despite the 2 losses to strong opponents is still ranked. Shows they are getting lot more respect this year after not getting ranked until the very end last year.

I would have moved Tennessee down below Mississippi State, but Miss State hasn't played ANYBODY yet. Having said that, at 5-0, they have slaughtered the cupcakes - closest game being a 21 point win on opening day vs. Samford. This team sure knows how to put the ball in the basket - they are averaging almost 94 PPG with 2 games over 100 points scored...

Funny thing is they play Texas next. Will have a very good idea if they should be ranked higher than Tenn after that game...
