Justise Hairston was a running back for the New Britain High School team that won the CT LL state football championship in 2001. He played at Rutgers for 3 years, mostly as a back up.
He transferred to CCSU for his senior year in 2006 where he set the single season school & NEC record for rushing yards. His rushing yardage (1,847) and rushing average ( 6.7) were the best in the nation.
He was also the second player from CCSU ever drafted by an NFL team.
He was also signed to the Colts practice squad and by the Buffalo Bills before being waived in 2009.
