I have affinity for 80's/90's because that's the logo I sported (mens swimming). But I think we had the football teams helmet script on our swim caps. 2013 is last place in my book.

The 80's/90's logo is my favorite as well.

I like the current logo. The previous ones looked soft. That said, I'd go:
2013
1960's
2002

I mentioned this thread to my wife, and she said that she thinks the current logo looks too much like a piece of clip art. While the logo doesn't look bad, I think she is correct in that.

What I liked about the logo's from the 80's, 90's, and then the colorized version that was in use after it was that it looked good and it was unique. There was no mistaking that logo for any other school. When the current logo came into use I thought it bore too much of a resemblance to the logo's of a number of other schools, which meant to me that UConn logo was no longer unique, and could easily be confused with that of another school.

Best logo? Championship Husky. The Boneyard has spoken.

Given the current logo is the only one that resembles a husky, I'll go with that.

If someone wanted to make it all white, with blue eyes and red tongue, I'd likely be ok with that too. But not a fluffy Samoyed.

@dbmill my issue with the colorized version was the red tongue and fluffy Farrah Fawcett hair. Looked like a dog you wanted to pet. I like the mean look of the current one, though I agree it's not real unique and does have a clip art feel. I'd be happy with something in between.

Certainly a valid argument. The colorized version doesn't bother me like it bothers you, but like I said I prefer the black and white version. I can understand liking the mean look of the current logo, but that doesn't matter as much to me. Just a personal taste sort of thing. That the logo is no longer unique is what bothers me the most about it.

What about a shaved Samoyed? Just curious.

(FYI at least one of the Jonathans has been Samoyed)
