With all the stars out there, there is no reason to get things wrong.

They did correct it later in the broadcast, but Uconn had 2 players foul out this year, not zero.

After the game they talked about Stanford being better than they were when they first played Uconn. Based on the facts, they must have said this in the event they end up playing Uconn so viewers won't think Uconn winning is a foregone conclusion.

They said the main reason was the improved outside game so Chiney doesn't have to do everything.

Now for the facts.

3 point shooting the last 10 games:

13-24
3-11
2-9
9-24
4-23
6-19
4-14
10-29
5-19
5-19

That's 61-191. A solid 31.9%.

It's not difficult to check your facts, ESPN.

Maybe they were referring to mid range shooting or with improved scoring outside of Chiney. Certainly, they cannot be talking about three point shooting over the last 10 games. They could also be referring to three point shooting up to and including the UConn game and their improvement since. In their first two games, road contests against against Boston College and UConn, Stanford shot a paltry 9-30 from beyond the arc, but they are now shooting 36% for the season which would suggest some improvement.

Carolyn Peck also thinks that, I guess, because she's 6'4", that Stewie and Stef are both 6'3"...

On Stanford - I actually think if you look at certainly the game against PSU but also the first two rounds as well other players on Stanford have stepped up in a way that they didn't for any extended period during the regular season. I do think they are playing better at this time than previously as a team, and the defense on PSU was really really good. Say what you will about Lucas, she doesn't often disappear offensively but Stanford held her to the lowest point total of her career (tied) and that was a team effort.
