UConn played a vanilla offense and defense and still won.
If it hadn't been for a missed block that led to the fumble UConn wins going away.
This was Maine's Super Bowl.
Biggest improvement is from game 1 to game 2.

Feel free to add your own.

Meh, these are all pretty tru though. I get that it was ugly, but the fumble return was a fluke and their second TD was aided by a BS interference call.

This game was an important step in building a winning, never say die team.

This showed the true character of the kids and staff. We never got down on ourselves.

There were great things that happened during the game that we saw and we will build on it this week.

Only 5 more wins to be bowl eligible.

Bob's still getting his feet wet.
Nobody expects run, run, pass.
And who knew we might need that FG at the end of the half?
And it's not like we're exposing the blind side of a QB who's just returned from a concussion or two?
We're growing as a family.
The object of offensive planning is to not give up points.
Lombardi never threw downfield, why should we?
Deception is like cheating.

Great win for the family. We overcame adversity and found a way to win against a very good football team. People don't understand just how good Maine is.

We need to make a few adjustments, but the guys left it all out there and showed a winning mentality.

Our game plan was to wear them down with the run. We knew it would be close because they're a great team , but we were confident we would begin to dominate in the 4th quarter.

That was a hellava great contest. Exactly what you want to get ready for the regular season.

We just have to get better. We just didn't capitalize on a few key plays. Otherwise we were sound.

Fluky fumble return and HORRIBLE interference call led to 2 of their TDs without those two things we win this game something like 35-7.

Maine clawed us like lobsters and we responded like huskies that had lobsters on our paws. This was a crap performance all round. Offense sucked. Defense sucked. Coaching sucked. Thank god for the specials

I admit I said all but the missed block led to the fumble excuse before getting in my car. Mostly just trying to self rationalize how awful that was.

This is the first leg in a ten leg table. We will select ten players to carry table legs to the field next game.

We won with love and peace, that's all that matters.

This is year 3 in a 12 year offensive line rebuild. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Louisville put up 70 POINTS. 70! I'm not asking for 70 I'm asking for mere competence. There is no excuse not to score points ON MAINE.

Hey, Maine is a valued partner in our pursuit of the betterment of self.

Man, what a disaster that was tonight.

They didn't lose, so that's a plus, but that's about as bad as you can leave an FCS game vs a garbage team.

You don't know what the players went through under Coach Pasquoloni, I do. They are still recovering.

Football is like a key lime pie, you never know which way you are going to slice it.

24 points is 10 points higher than our average offensive output in 2015. Progress.

Even though we almost lost to a 1AA team, we still dominated. And players showed intestinal fortitude.

My dog ate my homework.

We'll be needing one of these for Maine too. I smell a rivalry!

Even if all of these are true (and they are to some extent), there is no reason to be encouraged after last night.

We don't have 12 years. Need to step up next week.
