Given the title is Week 3 games (12/7-12/13), I beg to differ on the lack of "Massive" games. This Sunday will be the battle for the state and possibly the PAC12 conference since the last 6 conference titles have been won by these 2 teams:. Oregon vs Oregon State. I'm pissed I can't go to it with no fans: Sunday at 4pm.

I didn't say there were no massive games. I said there were "not a ton of high-profile games in the next several days".

OSU has been struggling to put away D2 schools. Hard not to consider UO the heavy favorite, but in a rivalry game all that stuff can fly out the window in a hurry, right @triaddukefan ?

@Plebe I appreciate your time and effort in compiling the weekly schedule, it sure comes in handy!!! Based on your information, for the first time, I watched 5 or 6 complete WBB games when neither team was THE Huskies.
In the past I would peek in on other top tier games but never for a complete game. Using your thread I was able to plan accordingly and due to THE Huskies situation, tried to feed my WBB appetite. But it wasn't quite the same even though the games I watched were pretty good.
Thanks again.

I appreciate the kind words. It's been a trying couple of weeks for us UConn fans, but my consolation has been the availability of other interesting games to watch and follow.

We can't control all the postponements and cancellations, but to paraphrase Geno, we can control how we roll with it and respond :)

I believe all Big Sky conference games will be televised on Pluto TV. Depending on the Big Sky team home non-conference games may also be available there. I enjoyed watching NAU beat Eastern Washington for the second consecutive day on Pluto TV yesterday.

We know Pluto TV is not free it's merely no monetary cost to the viewer.

An Arizona in-state game on Wednesday December 9th at 6pm MST that may be of interest would be the NAU Lady Lumberjacks against the Grand Canyon Antelopes. The game will be down in Phoenix and I believe will be live streamed by Grand Canyon.

Should be an entertaining game with two high-powered offenses. While NAU is still down three starters from last year the team has shown an ability to put the ball in the hole particularly from the three-point line.

NAU is 3-1 on the year while the Lopes are 3-0.

Huge game tonight for UNCG. They couldnt beat a Division II team last week... so they will try their hand at a Division III school tonight. They welcome the Battling Bishops of NC Wesleyan to Fleming Gym. I had forgotten that they used to be conference rivals back when UNCG was Division III. My Spartans moved up to Division II in 1989 and they haven't played since.

Someone asked the other day about land grant vs flagship. Best way I know to state it is in the old days, land grant equalled farmers, engineers (working people) vs. Flagship which was lib arts, law, elitism.

There is still animosity between the two but the lines are blurred a lot more today.

Thanks for the explanation. No blurriness in Oregon. Straight up perfect explanation of the Land Grant University in Corvallis, OR, vs. the Liberal Arts School in Eugene, OR.

This is possibly the worst Oregon state team in a long time.

Not sure you can judge this early in our crazy season. I'm pretty critical, been at most every home game for 5 years, and after watching the game vs Colorado, came away with my expectations exceeded. They certainly didn't stink up the gym last night. We'll see if this carries over vs Utah tomorrow. Need more time to assess. UO game will certainly be a nice measuring stick.

I believe you're right about the Big Sky. In fact, Pluto TV has a separate Big Sky channel (752). That's where I expected to find today's Montana-UND game, but they're showing a soccer game on that channel.

Instead, I just discovered that today's game is on Channel 1052 (quick link: Pluto TV).

I found it by scrolling down to "Live Sports" in the category menu on the left, and it's currently the only choice in that category.

A classic battle between the hippies of Flagstaff and the Johnnys-come-lately of the for-profit school in the sprawling metropolis. :)

Interesting. Here in Arizona I watched the game on Pluto channel 1056.

You were also right about that Griz announcer he was hilarious. Would love to associate a face with that voice.

Does anyone else see the irony in the “Big Sky Conference” is now televised by “Pluto TV”?

The Powerful Battling Bishops of NC Wesleyan (Division III) came to Greensboro and delivered a crushing 52-37 victory over the Spartans of UNCG. Again UNCG played without its best player Aja Boyd.... no information on her return. Granted.... the Battling Bishops are a tough bunch... but they had no players over 5'9". These Spartans might be one of the bottom 5 teams in WBB this year :(

On a much brighter note.... My Panthers of HPU soundly defeated the Eagles of NC Central 87-65

What has happened to UNCG? When Lynne Agee was their coach, they were fairly competitive...but they apparently have fallen off the cliff.

They were good last year... won the conference regular season... lost by a point or two in the conference championship game.... finished with a 23-9 record. They lost the Conference player of the year... another all-conference player... and a few more starters and important role players. Plus their best returning player... Jada Boyd's older sister... hasnt played this season so far.

HUGE win for the Doisha Woods era at Denver in a local rivalry game against CU-Boulder! After falling just short against UNC, Doisha Woods and her Pioneers snatched a fantastic win against Colorado. A freshman in Hein stepped up to the line to give DU the lead for good with 3.5 seconds to play. Boyd went off for a career high 29, and this DU team is a youth movement that will be a force to be reckoned with under Doisha Woods in the Summit.
