Not to sound like the covid ostriches we have around here, but if omicron is as contagious as they say it is, these measures will do little to limit the spread. Sure, vaccinated people are less likely to spread and get infected by the virus compared to unvaccinated people, but they are still plenty capable of doing those things in absolute terms. If the school/state/whatever wants to limit spread, they should require test results regardless of vaccination status (like re-entry into the US via plane), and strictly enforce face covering. It is understandable that they are not going that far, though. You are not, but there's an implied understanding in all of this that if you're exposed to someone you're quarantining. Whether that really should be implied given people's actions the last 2 years is a whole different conversation though
Someone I know very well and his whole family of 5 had the virus even after full vaccination.4 tested positive, 1 negative After what might have been proper quarantine, all went to a major sporting event including air travel and hotel stay. While away, the 1 negative started minor symptoms the day of the early morning return flight. Tested once at home and it was of course, positive.Serious question. If I test negative three days before and end up exposed to someone right after my test doesn’t that mean I can then expose others at the game? Am I totally off basis here?
I understand this. However, are there not situations in which people may have been exposed and not known to have been exposed? You are not, but there's an implied understanding in all of this that if you're exposed to someone you're quarantining. Not necessarily, went to see a concert in NY about 3 months ago and needed to show vax card. Went surprisingly smooth no delay at all.Better arrive 2 hours before tip off - if those checking the cards are anything like the security and parking lot attendants this could take forever JSMH
You have to think they will barely check for vax cards, security doesn’t get paid enough to be the covid police.Better arrive 2 hours before tip off - if those checking the cards are anything like the security and parking lot attendants this could take forever JSMH
You know that if you test positive you can still get in as long as you have a vax card.Serious question. If I test negative three days before and end up exposed to someone right after my test doesn’t that mean I can then expose others at the game? Am I totally off basis here?

Thank you for these very helpful PSAs!You know that you if you test positive you can still get in as long as you have a vax card.
I've been known to use that gif but I was feeling a bit saucy today.I was waiting for someone to post the MJ gif of this. This will be a good one.
Hey I try my best, I wasn’t giving out a suggestion btw lol.Thank you for these very helpful PSAs!

stop applying logicAlso, players who've tested positive within last 90 days are considered immunized w/same benefits as fully-vaxxed.
If so, why aren't fans who tested positive within last 90 days considered Fully-vaxxed? why are all these requirements all over the damned place?
I believe it has to do with the germination period, which is why you can't take a test if you think you've been exposed for 3-5 days after exposure.Serious question. If I test negative three days before and end up exposed to someone right after my test doesn’t that mean I can then expose others at the game? Am I totally off basis here?
This is what I’m struggling with understanding. Do we know for certain that people are not transmitting the virus within that 3-5 way window? I can’t say for sure so a requirement that a negative test 72 hours before makes you good to go is quite wild in my mind. However, I’m no doctor or public health official I’m just trying to understand as maybe I’m not grasping something.I believe it has to do with the germination period, which is why you can't take a test if you think you've been exposed for 3-5 days after exposure.
I see no major issue with this other than it's getting difficult to get a test taken. We struggled last weekend trying to get one for my son who had come into contact with a positive person. Places like CVS, Walgreens, etc. aren't open for tests on the weekend.
With the wait times right now on tests, I don't see how this is a legitimate policy. I wanted to get tested on Monday and the closest CVS appointment was more than a week away. Don't make it harder for people to go to games. I'm all for safety, but if you're going in a building with 14k other people...I'm pretty sure you understand the risk...
As long as you cover up the death totals it's actually a pretty effective strategy to get a book dealAnd the state is now putting Covid positive patients into nursing homes
A good way to avoid this is to just get the shot.
Cause.. as Terrible Ted once said... it's a Free for All... (Now you do air guitar in your head)Also, players who've tested positive within last 90 days are considered immunized w/same benefits as fully-vaxxed.
