During summer ball Polonia was full of strikeouts and walks as he made progress coming back from his injuries as he strengthened his arm. Between his first two appearances for Uconn this season that pattern seems to be repeating. Hopefully the walks will decrease as the season progresses.

Top 7th, Crawford with a 2 out single gets him his third hit of the game, on base 4 times today. 8-1 UConn going to the bottom of the inning. Crawford still in to pitch to start the inning, first batter is a lefty.

Also possibly Christian Fedko. Given his defense at 2B which is hardly the best, unless he has an absolute monster season hitting, he may not get drafted. Once again, we'll see how the season progresses.

Bottom 7th, Crawford issues a leadoff walk, and he comes off the mound in favor of Kenny Haus. Crawford returns to 1B. UConn loses the D.H. spot.

Bottom of the 7th, Haus gets a 1-2-3 inning with two strikeouts. Haus is fast becoming a fixture in this bullpen. He looks like he has taken a big step up from last season. 8-1 Huskies.
