We're in the heart of the offseason, so it's time for some UConn (Reverse) Sheep Trivia. I encourage everyone to take part in the fun.

This is a game where you try to out-think other forum posters.

Shoutout to the OG sheep himself @Mano who brought this game to The Boneyard years ago. The rules will remain the same for this iteration.

Rules:
  • There are two types of questions: Sheep questions (1-10) and Reverse Sheep questions (11-20).
  • For Sheep questions (1-10), you want to answer what you think will be given most often by other people. For example, if the question is "Name a Duke player" a good answer is Christian Laettner and a bad answer might be Nick Horvath.
  • For Reverse Sheep questions (11-20), you want to give the answer that you think will be given least often by other people. For example, if the question is "Name a basketball conference in the NCAA," the ACC might be a terrible answer while the Horizon League could be a good choice.
  • In Sheep questions, you get one negative point for every person that gives the same answer as you, including yourself. For example, if you and six other people said Laettner, all seven of you would get -7 points.
  • In Reverse Sheep questions, you get one positive point for every person that gives the same answer as you, including yourself. If you and ten other people said the ACC, you would get 11 points.
  • Incorrect answers in Reverse Sheep get the number of points for the answer with the most votes + 1, making it worse than giving the worst correct answer. Incorrect answers for Sheep questions will be worth 0.
  • The lowest total score wins. In the above two examples, your current score would be –7 + 11 = 4.
  • No using Google, Wikipedia, etc. if you don't have to. Try to remain moral in this (i.e. don't use them to cheat).
  • Fill out the Google Form to submit your answers. Do not post your responses in this thread or tell anyone else.
  • Answers are due by Wednesday, August 3 at 11:59PM ET. Answers will be revealed over the following days. We’ll put a cap at 50 participants.

I love this game!

In the spirit of encouraging good sportsmanship, I'd like to point out that, whenever I entered an answer that I was unsure about, I looked it up after the fact but always kept the original answer. Boy, was I wrong a lot. I don't expect to win it this year, that's for sure!

Thanks for organizing! So much fun...got to list one of my favorite childhood Huskies twice in reverse sheep.

Also, got to ransack my brain to a fifth grade memory of my friend Carl and I drawing a picture of UConn beating the team I picked in the reverse sheep question of picking a team UConn defeated in the tournament.

Ugh!! As soon as I hit enter, I noticed I accidently skipped an answer. I am submitting a second form with a "please delete #1". If this is not acceptable, that is cool. Thanks for hosting. Such a fun game!!

Wow- that escalated quickly.

Was going to play for the first time but thought I would wait until tomorrow to put my stuff in.

Is there a technical or time constraint reason to capping it at 50?

Yeah, we capped out at 50 pretty quickly. I'll likely regret this, but we'll open it back up and allow a few more people to enter before the deadline.

Having done these before, it takes quite a bit of time to sort through everyone's answers, tabulate the scores, etc., so just trying to keep it at a reasonable number. That said, it's more fun with more people involved - so the new cap is now at 77 in honor of our winning score against Duke in '99.

Submit your answers now while there's still space!

It seems we've stagnated at 74 responses - going to lock any new entries and we'll have some answers coming shortly.

I’m glad I’m not alone in thinking that this question was about the Kevin Ollie playing days and not his coaching days…I’m already out of it lmao
