I hope this fan base enjoys watching Erik play as much as I have through the years.

I’ll tell you this much I enjoyed his interview more then any I’ve ever heard haha. Kid obviously has a great personality in addition to being able to play.

Top 3rd, two out single for Bushling, so he gets on base for the second time already today. No score going to the bottom of the 3rd. PC pitcher at 55 pitches, which could really matter with their weak bullpen.

Top 3rd, Dunlop with some control issues gives up 2 walks. One out single brings in two runs after UConn throws the ball around. Another infield fielding mishap makes it 3-0. Three errors on UConn so far this inning.

Pickoff ends the 3rd inning. 3-0 PC. One earned run off of Dunlop in that inning.

Bottom 4th, Huskies seem to be catching the PC fielding yips, commit their fourth error of the game, and Bushling with his second error of the game. Dunlop with a scoreless inning to keep it at 3-0 PC.

Bottom 6th, Ken Haus relieves Dunlop to start the inning. Dunlop did well today, only problem is the inning where he gave up the two walks is the same inning where the Husky defense had a relapse.

Top 7th, pitching change for PC to start the inning as their starter comes out. Doesn't change what has been going on, as Huskies go down in order.

Chris Jones commented that UConn has hit the ball hard, but either at a PC player or foul. Also said that this would be a terrible loss, as he doesn't expect PC to win 10 games or so this season.

Chris Jones compared the Presbyterian baseball field yesterday to J.O. Christian at UConn. Of course, J.O. Christian at least had a press box, which was probably the one amenity that the place had. From the way Jones was describing the broadcast location, it definitely sounded like he was in the stands off to the side.

I've listened to WHUS sports broadcasts for many years. When it comes to their broadcasts of sports like soccer and baseball, the lack of a press box does happen from time to time. John Tuite used to describe certain radio setups in the stands or on the sidelines as the sports version of guerrilla radio. I recall one time when John Tuite was doing a men's soccer game at Temple from a cardboard table on the sidelines when the whole broadcast setup was upset when some players ran into the setup, and briefly sent the broadcast for a loop. Having the tent at yesterday's game almost sounds like a luxury.
It had rained buckets Thursday night so unplayable on Friday. Very rough to say the least. They have no lights either.

It was one of those tents that you use for a party. It was not warm either so Chris was bundled up pretty well. Didn't see his face and he never moved out of the chair.

Nice campus though. Soccer and football fields much better than baseball.

Great to see a game down here. Last year I went to 4 in Greenville when we swept MI State. Also hauled down to Charleston as well.

Just had a weird feeling we’d need some those runs from game 1 yesterday... to the 8th we go chasing 3

Top 8th, Winkel with a leadoff triple. Ferrer follows with a double to make it 3-1 with no out. Brodnansky pinch hits for Petersen. Huskies then go down 1-2-3.

Top 9th, Crawford with a single, Kyler Fedko doubles him in to make it 3-2 with one out. Gozzo follows with a walk. Time for a pitching change with Winkel up. Wild pitch moves the runners up.
