It’s early, of course, for Class of 2022 recruits to be ranked or predicted, but with these two offers it’s fair to say Clingan will be drawing a lot of attention over the next three years. He plays for the Team Spartans AAU program based in Massachusetts.

The fruit offered him already also. Word is Hurley offered because he wants to beat them for another recruit. ;)

Just have the gut feeling that Donovan could be the "glue guy" Ala a Niels Giffey that we need to bring us back to the promised land, don't know much about his offensive game ? Can he shoot the 3? Can he bring us a ring unlike McNabb?

I remember the thread about how he should go to an elite prep school. But he’s a sophomore right? I would love to see if he can lead a team without a lot of talent to a lot of wins and deep tournament push in the ciac before going prep. That says a lot to me. Plus high school game atmosphere is almost always 1000% better than most prep atmosphere in game night.

That article says he was 6’8 as a freshman, now he’s 7’ as a sophomore. Something tells me this kid isn’t done growing.

Love Ct kids who want to go to their home state school. Wish Gavin Griffith of Simsbury would do the same. He should have stayed at Simsbury HS. Instead of jumping ship to Avon O F.

Hurley may be trying to cut off in advance the possibility of a Ryan Gomes scenario of his own.
And think of it this way, if he turns out good, we're ahead of the curve. If he's not that great, he's not going to stop anyone from coming hear, and at least it's 5 fouls we can give to spell whatever better big we have.

He just turned 15 I believe. Could end up being 7’2

Irrelevant !

I suppose it’s relevant if he goes there. But I understand ur enthusiasm... very early in the game. I’m glad we get to duke it out with fruit again.

I understand the confusion, but Chief's comment was on the relevance of Cuse as a program
