-> Bristol Central's Victor Rosa was named the Gatorade State Player of the Year for football, Gatorade announced on Tuesday morning.

The UConn commit rushed for 2,728 yards and 41 touchdowns this season to lead Bristol Central to a 9-2 record and a spot in the Class L playoffs. He ran for over 200 yards in a game nine times and in his biggest performance of the season he rushed for 409 yards and eight touchdowns in a 68-50 win over Tolland. <-

The forgotten man on offense is Darius Bush. He was in the same vein of Brewton and Houston. I'd still like to see him get an opportunity and also Houston should as well considering he was brought in as a RB/WR. I get Rosa is local so he's getting additional love, but my 2 cents is don't be so quick to overlook others.

Total athlete. Will be interesting to see where he actually ends up position wise.

His tape is pretty fun on hudl.
Should be a slot/possession receiver at first and if he creates space then more of a downfield threat later.

I'd love to hear your projections on how Rosa might impact the team in 2022.

Is it just me, or is this blatantly passive-aggressive? How does any standout player impact any team?
If you need the general rules of football spelled out, just ask.
Projections?
You wanna talk about PROJECTIONS?
Projections??

He is going to be a good one for us - think he will excel in the slot and on fly sweeps. Very happy UCONN kept him in state.

Think they might mix in some lateral passes ala J Rose too. He played QB at BCHS although he threw a bunch of INTs against Maloney in the playoff game
