UCF vs UCLA

UCLA squeaks out a win 61-56 vs UCF. The game was tied with a minute left but UCLA holds UCF scoreless for the last 4 minutes. UCF played most of the game without star KK Wright.

The sad thing is that RPI will reward UCLA for a poor performance.

In looking at the box score, looks like UCF is up to its usual tactics, work the game clock, foul, shoot ugly and dribble dribble dribble. 7 assists, 14 turnovers and 17 fouls! This forces the other team to also get called for fouls and play ugly-16 in UCLA’s case but they did have 11 assists to 7 turnovers on 22/62 shots. Boy will I be happy to be rid of UCF after this year-solely to avoid injuries and frustration at how ugly Coach Abe can make a game.
