I missed it was he drafted by GS then traded to Atlanta or the other way round
Good question, ESPN shows him going to Golden State.

No big East team selection despite an amazing year. All Rese does is

1) Make all BET team
2) win 3x3
3) show OUT in Portsmouth
4) Destroy the g league combine
5) Get an nba combine invite & show out
6) become the only Big East player drafted this year.

Kudos to him

I’m so happy for Rese. Kid had the drive and wouldn’t quit. Played injured all the time and had some great Husky moments. Hurley has a good eye of talent! Excited to follow another Husky in the league. LFGGGGG!!!

DH now starting to get the League scouts attention as JC once did when it was said "when players come out of Uconn they are NBA ready." Congratulations Tyrese for all your efforts. You have left behind a legacy of toughness and leadership like many other Huskies before you and the result was the only NBE player drafted this year. What an inspiration to the program, the school and all of us fans! We will never forget you here and look forward to your future sucess in life and as a professional basketball player. Well done and all the best!

Happy for the kid. Not sure if I wanted him drafted or to be a free agent and go where he thinks he has the best chance, but the Hawks now have a vested interest in seeing him succeed

Go Tyrese

Better. chance to play in Atlanta than Golden State.
That’s true. Just would have been fun to see him on a team that goes deep into the playoffs, but PT would be difficult to get there.

I just read the entire draft. Tyrese was the only Big East player drafted!
That really is surprising. I remember in the beginning of the year people were talking about Champagne and Justin Lewis as if they were sure thing first rounders.
