There will be a lot of emotion in Gampel on Sunday. I think about the injuries over the last years to our eligible seniors and all except KC lost so very much time here because of them. Knowing that, those of us watching at home will be sharing those emotions as well. As for the game, we can't start offensively like we did last night in the depths of the NCAAs so it was good to get going eventually and get a solid win against a ranked team when Azzi and Ash did not have good shooting nights. However, we are definitely playing UCONN vintage February/March defense and it was devastating at times. You can see the difference Aubrey makes instantly when we press. So, here are my top 3 things:

1) A quick starting offensive tidal wave so that Caroline gets extended minutes and hits a 3.

2) Azzi and Ash to get back on line with their 3s and pull ups.

3) Same defense as last night and what we played against SC. That will get us to the FF.

For this bittersweet game, what are yours?

A dominating performance to solidify moving up in polls and tourney position. Next week polls should reflect two losses by nd, a barely hanging to beat an unranked by Texas and showdown between #2 and #4. Where will we be?

Just 3 things for me that aren't related to play on the court...
  1. Paige's number unveiled on the wall of honor
  2. Azzi to announce she's coming back next season
  3. The moving senior day walk with their families for Aubrey, Caitlyn, and Paige

Most important is it is on FS1 - so I can watch (CBSS w Creighton I couldn't see).

Bittersweet as we say goodbye (save for postseason) to people we know & love. My most emotional farewell will be Caroline Ducharme as her journey has been unique and we fans have rooted for her perhaps as much as any other player in recent memory. Best to all, especially Caroline Ducharme.

Game-wise I will watch for continued tenacious defense pacing the traditional UConn brand of ball. When UConn plays fast, agile, pestering defense it is a joy to watch. I think that formula can carry us well against teams that bring other assets against us - like height. Of course too, no injuries.

Also I will be watching the long-term forecast on The Weather Channel as I try to attend the semis and finals for the Mohegan Sun Tournament - but it's a drive for me. Good news it will be Daylight Savings Time for easier driving - same too in a couple weeks getting to Storrs for the First Round WNCAA games.

Overall I am so grateful for such a wonderful and rewarding part of my life which I've enjoyed - in person and on TV - for so many years. That includes all the informative BY folks too.

Has it been announced if the ceremony will be after the game like last year or pregame like the previous years?

1. No injuries!!!!
2. Quality play from El Alfy
3. More minutes for Griffin if warranted

As a parent to a college athlete I would say nothing compares to Senior Night. For so many that is the last horrah and the end of a part of their lives they will never forget. For me I just hope the parents can keep their eyes dry enough to watch the game and the girls to reflect on how many lives they impacted in positive way. I know a lot of people on here get angry when a comment is made about a player that isn't complimentary but please don't confuse that with not loving or appreciating all they have done for and brought to UConn.

What happens in the game itself is not that important as long as UConn can be focused enough to get a win.

The game is at 2:00 but coverage on UCONN+ begins at 1:30 so I’m assuming the ceremony is before

1. UConn takes it to Marquette right from the tip to get everyone major minutes!
2. Injury free!
3. Players shine in all aspects of the game!
Players head to Post Season on highest note!

1. PAIGE and Sarah do "Paige and Sarah" things!
2. Carol plays like she had another year to share with the
Boneyard!
3. Aubrey continues to get the minutes she needs
and ?? 3a. A reappearance of "ICE"??? (I loved the
video of KK, SARAH, and ICE singing " I say a little prayer"!!!

1). More of what was on display against Creighton.
2). Smiles
3). Playing as One Unit

That would be a welcome gesture in honor of Caroline and ICE being on the injured list for so long.A deserved reward. Caroline was a standout player her freshman year and I thought she was another Katie Lou. That was never realized and Uconn fans were deprived of watching excellence in motion. I hope caroline takes her extra year and play like we know she can and give us the joy of watching what should have been. GO CAROLINE!!!!!

1. Caroline play 5 minutes
2. Azzi regains her form and hits 5 3's
3. Paige proves she is the Big East player of the year with 25/10

1. Caroline scores
2. Jana shows improvement
3. Unveiling of Paiges number
