Looked good. I think he was out there on one power play in their end and won a faceoff perfectly back to the point.
Had a really nice pass along the boards in the third period I think.
Im sure It will take a few weeks to get acclimated to his teammates but I think he’ll be really good. Especially if he can win faceoffs consistently which we need.
He played on Woods line due to Amonte being scratched.
How valuable has this guy been since he has arrived?
He has become the team’s number one faceoff guy, won the shootout on Friday night, scored the fifth goal yesterday, won the faceoff that Matthew Wood just shot wide but eventually led to the sixth goal, and scored UConn’s first goal in the shootout yesterday to keep their chances alive.
