NFLPA Collegiate Bowl – The Premiere CFB All-Star Game

It’s played in the Rose Bowl. Lots of scouts as you’d expect. Ryan had invites from several of these all star bowls and chose the one that (other than the Senior Bowl) is rated highest. The scouts then head to Mobile AL for the following weeks Senior Bowl practices. That’s when Travis Jones gets to show his stuff. Exciting times for sure. Good luck to all our Husky hopefuls.

What is amazing about these big O linemen is that they can’t just overwhelm defenders but can even be pushed around. I thought Knappe was the hugest human I’d ever stood next to (not height wise, just a huge ) and his sheer size wasn’t enough.

I hope he does great, and is getting some outside technique and coaching help. Got to keep his center of gravity low which is his biggest issue

Ryan Van Demark has received an important upgrade from the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl to the more prestigious Shrine East West Bowl. That’s a very good sign of how he’s been viewed during training as well as the effort and the influence of his agent in pushing for the promotion.
As you can see below, there’s a significant upgrade in the quality of the OT competition in the Shrine. Good luck Ryan. We’ll be watching Thursday night Feb 3rd at 8pm EST on the NFL Network!!
