Yet another way the p5 screws the left over schools. Only this is done under the guise of what's best for the student athlete. The push to to have kids not sit out a year after they transfer is so the bigger schools could use the G5 as a juco system.

Not really. He has graduated already, so he is a grad transfer which is why he is available to play immediately. UConn picked up a grad transfer from Toledo and last year one from Miami (FL).

IMHO, transferring is a very risky move if he wants to play in the NFL. He is having success at Buffalo and NFL scouts know who he is and there is no guarantee that he will be the starting QB at a school he may transfer to. My bet - he stays at Buffalo.

Hmm. Seems like a weird choice

He will do well in combine and pro day and could well end up as a second or a third round pick in this weaker quarterback class.

Perhaps Jarvis Miller (LB) from Penn State is a grad transfer to keep an eye on. He graduated in December with one year of eligibility left. Played HS ball at Suffield Academy. Was rated a three star LB (.8457) in the 2015 class and #5 recruit in CT. Did not play a ton at Penn State.

John Wholley started recently following on twitter. Miller gave the new UMass DC a like and Brice McAllister some love earlier this fall. McAllister graduated from Suffield the year before. Miller has a lot of connections with CT players including players on our roster.

Not to mention it was senior laden O, so his downside risk was up. Sell high!

That would be a great pick up for our beleaguered LB corps

Well Randy - it is what it is...get on it!

Hopefully we cash in on this.. get some players that can help us in all phases (Offense, Defense, and Special Teams)

I'm OK with a transfer QB at least. We're down to 2 for Spring practice and only 3 for the Fall

In the old days seemed like more kids transferred down a notch....

Notable tranfers to date... this is a great link
Transfer Portal: Tracking players exploring transfer options

Btw, the staff seems to be trying for Danny Dalton TE from MA tranferring out of Penn St. Dalton is set to visit BC this weekend. Like Fines, he graduated early with two years of eligibility left. I think it’s very likely he takes a slot at BC.

Another transfer opportunity bites the dust at the critical TE position. Corey was following.

I hope we plan to move Garson to TE at this point.
