Each question gives you 3 not-too-common words from a pop song from the 4o's into the 80's.
Name that tune. If you wish to confirm a song you think is the answer by asking Google for the
lyrics, that's OK. It is not OK to give Google the 3 words and demand it give you the song.
Do not hit "reply".

1..Corridors, lessons, design

2..Concrete. blazing, garden

3..Train, footsteps. recall

4..Blackboard, shooting. graduation

5..Sandwich, glow, thunder

6..Fat, shoes, shades

7..Schnitzel, barks, woolen

8..Yard, vase, cozy

9..Tricks, hanging, pawn

10..Frost, curtained, analysis

11..History, coin, bone

12..Control, sarcasm, kids

13..Board, hummin', store

1..Massive storms will reach your eastern shores. Fields of green will tumble through your summer days.

2..It is a special one. It's never seen the sun.
It only comes out when the moon is on the run...

4..Did you say I have a lot to learn?
Well, don't think I'm trying not to learn
Since this is the perfect spot to learn...

9,,You never turned around to see the jugglers and the clowns when they all did tricks for you.

11..As soon as 3 o'clock rolls around, you finally lay your burden down.
Throw down your books; get outta your seat.

13,,You're a store bought woman. You make me sing like a guitar hummin'.

7..VAUC wins the "Early Riser" award, providing MY FAVORITE THINGS. Having reneged on his promised return,
we'll be putting his likeness on a milk carton.

5..Tjjen Meyers, long DOWN UNDER himself, envies Men at Work and hopes he'll soon be off
the unemployment dole. Sadly at age 53, it's a long shot.

8..We benefit from a trio emerging with OUR HOUSE. Each had an inside track for memory jostling by each having 2 cats in the yard,
a fireplace and wilted flowers in a vase.

12..Puppylove, ever chasing his neighbor's 2 cats, sometimes slams into ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL. Zorro educates us by claiming that in Central America, the song goes by LEAVE THOSE KIDS ALONE.
If anyone has independent verification of this, please inform.

10..THE DANGLING CONVERSATION is 48's entry. He bemoans the difficulty of the test, but his argument is weakened
by our knowing he was left back 3 times in elementary school.

11..The lovely ballad LAURA from the 40's movie with Gene Tierney is provided by zorro. He reports that his neighbors insist on pronouncing it LO-RA.

Finally, Drive, who disdains participating until hints are provided. finishes up with a whole bushel of accurate placements, which just leaves us with #1 undone.

2..Just a small technicality. The lead singer of the Drifters had departed, so credit for Spanish Harlem goes to Ben E. King.

Chief, there were at least 3 different groups that were billed as The Drifters. The first group ha Clyde McPhatter as the lead. Then, there was Bobby Moore ( I think) as lead. Finally the whole group was replaced by a group fronted by Ben E. King.

I'm aware...merely saying that the song was released as just by Mr. King, no acknowledged Drifting.
