It's showing up now, something on my end wasn't working originally. Thanks, Medic

Originally I did not see it as well. By the time you posted about it, I was able see the original tweet.

Was it July 22 or just today???
Edit: they refer to an earlier date. Still nice promotion.

I don't follow the program closely enough. I still get a feeling that we are close. We've never been the worst team in HE, but have struggled to crack that top tier. Is that about to change?

yes- I strongly feel you will see top 25 national rankings associated with the program in the next 2/3 years max - they have that much young NHL caliber talent.

keeping in state stars like Capone is a big step. Connecticut is very talent rich and has strong youth programs in comparison to many other states

Seems we are getting more and more kids over the past few years who are projected to be not only drafted by the NHL, but drafted in the first 1-2 rounds...which has to he a good sign.
The kids aren't too worried about XL vs on campus 5K arena

4.25⭐ Nick Capone to UConn. CT native plays a heavy game. Protects the puck, dominates the tough areas and has lots of snarl. Heavy, hard shot with sharp vision. Tough to play against and gets on the sheet. Late 2001 former Maine commit.

McFarland @ Courant:
‘It’s crazy, I never thought it would happen’: Highly-touted hockey recruit Nick Capone of East Haven wanted to stay close to home at UConn

>>When highly-touted center Nick Capone de-committed from the University of Maine and reopened his recruitment last week, UConn was among the first programs to reach out.<<

>>It took just a week after reopening his recruitment for Capone to land with UConn. Head coach Mike Cavanaugh and the Huskies pursued Capone the hardest once he was on the market he said, and the 6-2 center bought into what the staff pitched.

“He’s a great coach,” Capone said of Cavanaugh. “They know how to communicate well with their players. They reached out to me, and they were personable. They talk to you about things outside of hockey. They’re just really great guys all around.”<<

We need to wrap up a contract extension for Cavanaugh before Jerry York retires and BC reaches out to him.
The reality is if he wants to go to BC when the time comes there will be no stopping him, If he can get us into the NCAA tournament before he leaves I will wish well and thank him for what he accomplished.
