Gonzaga is gonna be really good again, just had 3 players withdraw from the draft in the past 24 hours or so

Hmmmm... But, but, but, they each could have made a lot of money! I wonder what made them decide to return.... Perhaps another chance to win a NC?

Because he’s looking at being picked in the second round. Do you think Drew Timme would be back if he had Holmgren’s draft prospects? If you’re going to be condescending at least have some idea what you’re talking about.

Timme is a mirage. He'll dominate in CBB (and mostly only the WCC) as long the refs let him get away with the chicken wing every time. It's unwatchable.

Holmgren will go high, but I wouldn't draft him. I just don't see him ever getting the strength to compete. Could be wrong, but if I was a GM I'd let someone else take the chance.

Ya unfortunately I just see bol bol 2.0 waiting to happen when I watch him. Hope he stays healthy because he's fun to watch

Very true, but he is right. Timme lacks the foot speed to ever make a career in the NBA.

I agree. He makes Porzingis look like Ronnie Coleman, and his shoulders seem almost freakishly narrow. Acknowledging that he still might become a high level NBA player I'd let someone else take that flyer.

they don't have any recruits coming in which is odd and the loss of nembard is going to hurt. their roster doesnt scare me unless they get malachi smith.

starting lineup: Hickman / Bolton / Strawther / Watson / Timme. sallis and efton reid off the bench.

not picking them to make the final 4

They definitely still have work to do but they're still a top 10 team right now, are the leaders for Malachi Smith and the likely leaders for one of the top international guys in Baba Miller

Not surprised at Timme returning, he's gonna be one of the faces of cbb, I'm sure the NIL money will be flowing in for him
He has several legit NIL deals, a casino, a shaving co., proly making at least $250k per year. Why not do that again and then take your shot at the NBA.

With the NIL deals, if he's not a projected first rounder anyway, then no downside to playing another year.

Haven't paid attention to Gonzaga's incoming recruits, but without Holmgren, maybe he gets a chance to showcase more of his skills and maybe eek into a late first rounder?

Worst case scenario, with another year, maybe he gets a good payload from a Euro team.

He’s going to make way more than 250k this year. CBS sports podcast saying Gonzaga was trying to get 2m together to keep him out of the draft.

He's Tyler Hansbrough 2.0. Really good college player, will have a fringe NBA career at best.

A 6’6” guy is going to play center? I think he can succeed because he’s flexible and fits a switching multiple team system. But he’s not a center or a PF for more than a few minutes. He’s a wing.

To be honest I don’t believe before pulling out he was even projected as a 2nd Rounder…

He’s not Draymond- game is not similar at all.
