Ranked #27 prospect in the 247 composite, their highest rank for a recruit since Otto Porter in '11 (he was ranked #31). That would place Allen seventh amongst all Georgetown commits in their database.

Just goes to show, if you’re missing on top recruits, you aren’t paying enough. Hopefully we can play the game at that level soon.

Otto was underrated IMO… one of the rare ones who didn’t play aau if I recall

Ewing (and his staff) can recruit. But he's shown an inability to retain players. I wonder if he keeps his job if they're under .500 again.

Hopefully they perform better this year. The Big East brand needs a competitive Georgetown.
