Noel and Burks are back. Not crazy about giving Noel 32 mill but it is important Knicks resign their own for good PR for once, Its 3 years though, I would think Rose is standing pat for moves to be made then resigns.

I really like the four deals:

Noel: 3y, 32M
Burks: 3y, 30M
Rose: 3y, 43M
Fournier: 4Y, 73M

One thing Burks taught me this year is he’s a heck of a closer. Ice in his veins.

Those are all really good deals, should be a solid team next year and if things go bad they're all tradable

My Knicks nightmare continues. All that maneuvering to have worse draft picks for trades and their big free agent signing was Evan Fournier for nearly 20 mil per year. Max cap space for 3 years and they still attracted nobody.

You must sleep pretty well.

Who would have been your big free agent signing?

Depth so far, solid rotation going here and a scrappy, fun-to-watch team:

The team, as currently configured, will win some games, but are not going to threaten the teams at the top of the division. Hopefully we'll see Randle continue to play at the high level he played last season. Barrett needs to get more consistent with his offense. Mitchell Robinson is such an intriguing player that will hopefully come back from injury at 100% and continue his upward trajectory. It will be interesting to see how Toppin & Quickley build on last year. They still need that guy that can generate his own offense in the half court. At least we're talking about the Knicks without writing off the season before the first ball is tipped.

I rather the Knicks build a team rather then have this endless pipe dream of getting a star player which never happens. Need to stop waiting and chasing after star players, you need to build a winning culture that’s the only way players will wanna come here.

Not crazy about the Fournier deal but the 4th year is an option year. Essentially you have all these guys on 3 year deals that’s not bad. The key will be having RJ and Quickley take that next step.

I would like the Knicks to sign a pg to a 1 year deal ( not Elfrid Payton) Rose minutes need to be limited especially in an 82 game season he will play 60 ish games probably.

Kemba, Fournier, Barrett, Randle, Robinson

Rose, Quickley, Burks, Toppin, Noel

That's not a championship team, but that's a really solid playoff team and should let them bring along Grimes and McBride slowly

I really love the Kemba and Fournier moves. That's a really nice starting lineup, Toppin began to emerge late last year, and obviously Quickley was fantastic.. Things are looking up!

This ends with them building a nice team and blowing up the structure in a Dame trade, doesn’t it?

I hope not I know ESPN and the Stephen A Smiths of the world will be pushing for it.
