Jalen showing some range! I think he definitely ends up getting a shot and it will be well deserved

Rooting for the guy. He could have done more with better coaching while in college and it looks like his game has finally begun to mature.

I don't get how Adams isn't on a two-way. Much better than Boston with Waters, Edwards. Edwards doesn't ever hit shots, and Waters is a gunner and small. Adams could be a Wannamker type presence for UConn and more solid than Teague, who is washed up.

Still only hitting 32% from 3. He could get a look, but NBA GMs aren't rushing to bring up guards making less than 35% from 3.
You cherry picked this from right after he had two bad games.

Last year he shot 39.5% from 3 on 6.4 attempts per game across 40 games. In the bubble he's now shooting 40% from 3 on 6.1 attempts per game across 14 games. He's also shooting 57% on 2-pointers and is at 91% from the line.

I think we'll see him in the NBA as soon as this month.

I didn't intend to. Those were his current stats from when the thread was created. No arbitrary end points used.

I'm glad he's shooting better and I hope he makes the league. The g-league path is a tough row to hoe.

This is what I see.

Looks like he was 0-8 over the last 2 games, but tonight went 3-6.
Looks like solid 40% to me

No doubt Jalen should be in the league. If I were him and I dont get the call up by end of season, I go make good money in Europe.

He just came back over from playing in Europe. Think he wants to put in the work/ time for a shot at the league even if it takes couple years

Hope jalen gets a chance. I think he could become nice role player for someone in the NBA if he can find (maintain?) a 3 pt shot.

Watching his g-league game right now and let me tell you he better get a call up soon. His teammates (many of whom had already had chances in the NBA) look like they don’t know how to play ball right now. Someone better give him his respect!!

I love the Mike Francesa version of the play call. I suspect most have seen it. Not technically a play by play or anything like that. Its not real-time. He reviews the play a few minutes after it happened. Its pretty funny.

How in the world were Cincy fans calling that a walk? Wasn't anywhere near a walk.

I love, love, love Adams. I probably should say that again because what I'm about to say. I love, love, love Adams. Ons of my favorite UCONN guys ever.

But.... the fact they we are even having this discussion is a bit incriminating of someone or something. There's no reason he should not of been a 1st round selection. He came to UCONN with a considerable skill-set. Athletically he was completely adequate for the NBA. I'm not sure who messed up. The previous staff or Adams himself. Likely both.

Anyways, I look forward to seeing him in the NBA. He will undoubtedly make it. I suspect he's finally improving and learning something. KO and staff failed JA miserably.

His shot seems to have improved.

But a 4:3 asst/to ratio does not cut it as a pg.

That’s his biggest challenge.
