So what is her future status. As an NAIA player before Iowa State does she get an extra covid year if she wants it? She was eligible for this year's draft as I understand it, but would not be available to play this upcoming WNBA season, but potentially could be available for the later portion of next year's NCAA season, so I have no idea what she might do.

That's a real bummer for her and for Iowa St She was shaving a real nice season and was providing Iowa St. with an element they didn't have in the last some years with her Hight, rebounding. and shot blocking. Hope for a speedy recovery for her!

I think it's more of a on the bubble for Sweet Sixteen path. It's the same roster from last years Sweet Sixteen team, less center Jordao that medically retired a couple of weeks ago and plus starting guard Fritz. Still Kane/Jordao splitting the post play last years is better than Kane and nobody. Key is play well enough in the Big 12 to be top 16 and host. If you get the host nod there's no excuse for missing the Sweet Sixteen like they did Bridget Carlton's senior year.

Big 12 is not strong this year. I'm still thinking they have a shot at 1st although it could be a three-way tie or something.
